 BiographyAnna Campbell is an accomplished singer and inspirational Christian songwriter. She first began singing at the age of five and started composing by the age of eleven. Always dreaming of being in music ministry, Anna frequently performed at local coffee houses, churches, and community and school events while growing up in Sonoma County. At age twelve, Kathy Schallert, a local Christian artist to the Sonoma County area, recognized her potential talent and asked her to be a background vocalist and pianist in her band, Loud Cry. She was privileged to be a part of Kathy's second CD recording, The Ten Commandments and performed with Kathy for the next four and a half years, traveling around the state of California. After graduating from high school, Anna attended Simpson College, in Redding, CA, to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Worship Ministry with a focus in vocal performance. There she studied Opera Literature and other genres of music and graduated in the Spring of 2004. While in College, she copyrighted her first song, Elohim, and produced and arranged it herself on CD. She also won a local vocal/instrumental competition as well as The Nevada County Fair Queen Pageant of 2002. In the Fall of 2005, Anna self produced her first demo CD demo, Your Heart, in Chico California through The Good Shepherd's Studio. Her CD can be heard on KNCO Newstalk 830 am radio broadcasted out of Grass Valley, California. Anna has sung the National Anthem and provided entertainment for events such as the Nevada County Draft Horse Classics, Northern Division Women's Republican Party, Daughter's of the American Revolution Committee, Little League games, College Basketball games, and the San Francisco Giants. She has also appeared on 3 Angels Broadcasting Network (3ABN) stationed in Thomsonville, Illinois, performing well-known hymns as well as music written by Kathy Schallert. She is currently performing for local events in Grass Valley, such as the Country Clubs in Lake Wildwood and Alta Sierra and enjoys performing with Mike Askew, local musician to the Nevada County and Marine County area. She is a well-known singer and musician in Sonoma County and Nevada County. Anna has a unique sound to her music blending soul, gospel, praise, and contemporary styles into one. Her music has the ability to sooth many hearts and touches those in need of healing. Anna's passion is to share her testimony through her music and allow her talents to bring glory to Jesus Christ.
