From the Early Years:
Mrs. Betty Crawford - Piano player at Bethel Baptist Church, Emporia, KS (late 60's), who inspired me with her "honky-tonk" style. Larry Dase - A gifted guitar player; my first "band-mate" in the early 70's, who taught me how to play along with others, and taught me chords, one string at a time. The Later Years:
Barry Lipkin at Synthony Music in Phoenix, AZ, who sold me my first keyboard-synthesizer and mixer, and introduced me to the world of MIDI. Mike Busbee - The most gifted & talented musician, writer, producer, I know. The first person I shared my dream with, of a music studio back in 1996. Thanks for being my friend & inspiration. I WILL see you on the Grammy's or Dove's someday! (and I still want to be your personal Chef!) Oscar Desrosier & Joe Sweet, who, out of desperation, drafted me to play for their youth praise brand, creating the spark that eventually led to my fire for youth-oriented praise music, leading to one of the greatest experiences of my life - performing at a youth rally with "Sweet Salvation", an awesome, one time only, 15-pc praise band. Kevin Toqe - A young, skilled & gifted musician whose frequent visits to my front door at night inspired my concept of a youth-oriented, practice space outreach. (Now if you can only convince your parents to let you come visit!). Mom (again!), who continues to support & believe in me, and through whose unconditional generosity, my keyboard collection continues to grow. Thanks Mom! (I need more microphones!). And Finally... the Shepherd's in Good Shepherd's Studio:
And of course, most of all...
